Mae’n cynnwys geiriau cyffredinol yn ogystal â thermau arbenigol o’r geiriaduron terminoleg sydd wedi cael eu datblygu ym Mhrifysgol Bangor dros y blynyddoedd Fel geiriadur electronig, mae gan Cysgeir sawl mantais dros eiriaduron papur traddodiadol. Mae’n gyflym ac yn dod o hyd i air yn rhwydd. Teipiwch y gair rydych yn chwilio amdano yn y blwch chwilio a bydd y geiriadur yn dechrau chwilio amdano cyn i chi orffen teipio. Cysgeir is a comprehensive collection of useful dictionaries for your computer and forms part of the Cysgliad package. It contains general every-day words as well as specialized terminology taken from the terminology dictionaries developed at Bangor University over the years. As an electronic set of dictionaries, Cysgeir has numerous advantages over traditional paper dictionaries. With Cysgeir, finding a word is quick and easy – start typing the word that you’re looking for and the dictionary will start looking for it even before you’ve finished typing. If you’re unsure of the exact spelling, just typing in the first few letters will narrow down the possible words so that you can select the appropriate word from the search window on the left. |

Mae’r gwirydd gramadeg yn gallu cywiro camdreiglo a chamgymeriadau gramadegol, gan roi’r rheswm pam mae’r gwall yn cael ei ystyried yn anghywir. Cysill can, in addition to correcting spelling and general grammatical errors, correct incorrect mutation and, when errors are found, inform the user why the error is considered to be incorrect. Cysill can be installed into popular word processing applications in Windows such as Microsoft Word and LibreOffice and accessed through convenient buttons on their toolbars. Cysill also includes a thesaurus which enables you to find different words that share a similar meaning, allowing you to improve your vocabulary and writing style. |
